Ensuring SOGIESC human rights is integral to achieving equality, dignity, and respect for all individuals within the society. We must continue to advocate for the rights of the LGBTQ community and work towards a world where everyone can live freely and authentically without fear or prejudice.  

Our Advocacy Program aims to address issues such as marriage equality, promote more inclusive policies and laws, increase public awareness about the issues affecting the LGBTQ community, and support the LGBTQ community in accessing legal services and judicial systems.  

We are a founding member of the Asian SOGIESC Caucus. We participate in regional and international advocacy efforts, promoting the rights and protections of SOGIESC individuals in Asia and ensuring their voices are heard in policy and decision-making processes. We are a proud member of ILGA Asia, which is the largest network of LGBTQ organizations in Asia, working towards the equal rights and protections of all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. By partnering with ILGA Asia, we can share ideas and resources and work together towards creating a more inclusive and accepting society where SOGIESC individuals can live and thrive.  

Our Activities: 

1.Legal advocacy: 

We will provide legal advocacy services to the LGBTQ community to support them in accessing the justice system and to raise awareness about issues affecting their rights.

2. Promoting marriage equality: 

We will work towards the legal recognition of marriage equality and advocate for more inclusive policies and laws that protect the rights of LGBTQ individuals and couples.

3. Advocacy campaigns: 

We will conduct advocacy campaigns to raise awareness about the issues affecting LGBTQ individuals and promote positive public discourse on the community. These campaigns include digital media campaigns, public events, and lobbying initiatives.

4. Community outreach: 

We will engage with the LGBTQ community to better understand their experiences and needs in the justice system. We will provide support and resources to help address the issues, including community legal education, training, and referral services.  

Through various advocacy initiatives, we seek to raise awareness about the community's issues and advocate to create lasting change through legal and policy change. We believe our advocacy program will contribute to building a more inclusive and just society for all individuals, including LGBTQ individuals.
